Here are some of my suggestions:

 

Move
  • All units may At The Double. Treat Courage as -2, unless there is at least one Hero in the formation.
Shoot
  • Bonus and penalty shots for Accuracy are doubled for infantry and cavalry.
  • Supporting fire provides +2 dice per company. Every company out of LoS can support as long as they're in range and at least one company in formation has the target in LoS.
Fight
  • 2 bonus dice per difference in Fight value.
Arms & Armour
  • Glaives: Strike before their own unit type.
  • Pikes: Confers Mob Rule to the formation.
  • Throwing Weapons: May shoot after moving more than half Move.
Command Companies
  • Banner Bearers, Hornblowers and Drummers count as 'normal warriors' for the purposes of fielding Epic Heroes.
Special Rules
  • Counsellors: Units with this rule may not benefit another unit with this rule.
  • Inspiring Leader: Cannot be used to boost Courage vs Spirit Grasp
  • Mob Rule: Support companies add one additional D6 in a Fight.
  • Overlord: Cannot be used to allow a formation without a Hero to call Heroic Actions.
  • Spirits: Count Defence as 7.
Monsters
  • Hard to Kill:
    • 1-2: No effect.
    • 3-4: 1 Wound.
    • 5-6: 2 Wounds.
    • 7+: Dead.
  • Very Hard to Kill:
    • 1-2: No effect.
    • 3-5: 1 Wound.
    • 6-8: 2 Wounds.
    • 9+: Dead.
  • Any natural 6 on the above tables gives a free additional roll.
Heroes
  • Epic Strike: Confers base Fight +2 in duels. Fight 10 otherwise.
  • Epic Charge: Gains rules of Heroic Charge, in addition to current rule.
  • Epic Rampage: Rolls of 1 to hit may not be rolled again due to this rule.
  • Heroic Duel: May be declined by spending a point of Might. Resolve the Duel as if his unit were the Hero. The unit may not roll on the Duel table. This Hero's Fight and Courage may not be used this phase.
  • Heroic Shoot: Exclude crossbows from this action's ability to shoot even after moving At The Double.
Magic
  • Will of Iron does not cost Might.
  • After a Hero declares an attempt to cast a spell, and passes any required Focus check, a single enemy Hero with Mastery and line of sight to the casting Hero may spend a point of Might to disrupt that spell. Both Heroes roll a D6 and add their Mastery. If the disrupting Hero's total equals or beats the casting Hero's total, the spell fails as if a successful WoI roll had been made.
Points
  • Banner Bearers: 20pts
  • Hornblowers/Drummers: 10pts
  • Taskmasters: 20pts
  • Non-Epic Heroes with Mastery 1: 75pts
  • Non-Epic Heroes
    • Fight 2/3: 30pts
    • Fight 4-5: 40pts
    • Fight 6-7: 50pts
  • All Legendary Formations with a base cost purchase the command company at half cost.

Yeah, all non-Epic casters.

There are a bunch of points cost recommendations I have read about. Pertinent to us are lowering Rohan cav by 5pts and raising Morgul Knights by 5pts. Seems the consensus is that Rohan cav are pretty awful!

One thing to point out is that only the Dark Marshal's company get the benefit of his Spirit grasp, not the whole formation. I thought the Morgul Knights had the rule!

I've done Rohan and Angmar and the odd thing I may use. The Fallen Realms so far only includes what you used in our last game.
