I'm sure it's all on Facebook, but not much here, so thought I'd add something. I went to the ten year celebration and thought it was great. A lot of work for the organisers, who 'made' it happen. A fair few things going on there, painting, the painting competition (that I should have made an effort for), the raffle. All sorts. Good attendance as well. I thought it right to say top stuff. Perhaps it could be looked at for a day event more often. Maybe  get some sort of consensus, to see if people can more easily attend on a day, rather than evening, due to work/family commitments etc. Might be worth looking at, although I understand it's more work for someone. anyway, a good day out.

Thanks dude, we're glad you enjoyed yourself! Was a great day. Absolutely knackered by the end of the 14 hours I was there!

I'd like us to do similar events in the future, though it was a fair bit of work. We've done some Saturday events before, but they weren't very popular. Perhaps that was just a promotion problem. We can certainly give them another try.

Well I think you've got to keep plugging away. Even if a Saturday didn't go as well, that just means more time for you (and the other organisers) to get a game in yourself. If you need a hand in future, shout me, as I should really get off my R's. Of note, as a little side thing you could have in future, I've just gone out and bought a Flock box. Really good by the way. You could have a Flocking/basing workshop area. You can make basing tufts with it as well, more messy the tufts, but might be a good addition to a painting area.
